Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks an experienced Architectural SME to guide hyperscale Data Centre projects across Europe. You will review, challenge and assure designs to STACK standards, customer requirements and regulatory obligations.

Engage with external architects, consultants and contractors through the full lifecycle—from due diligence to handover—balancing technical excellence with constructability and operational performance.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Architecture.
• 5+ years’ experience specifically within Data Centre design, development and/or construction.
• Experience with hyperscale or large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong ability to review designs from third-party architects and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Act as STACK’s Architectural SME across Data Centre development and construction projects.
• Review and challenge architectural designs, drawings, specifications and technical submissions produced by consultants and contractors.
• Provide architectural input throughout the project lifecycle, from site selection to handover.
• Identify architectural, buildability, coordination and regulatory risks early and help project teams develop practical solutions.
• Review site layouts, massing, access, logistics and operational functionality.
• Ensure architectural designs integrate with critical engineering systems.
