Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is recruiting on behalf of an established international main contractor for a senior Architectural Lead to oversee architectural and internal fitout packages on a major data centre development in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a site-based role managing multiple work packages, subcontractors and construction teams.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' main contracting experience, a relevant degree, and proven leadership of architectural/fitout packages.

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in main contracting.
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience leading architectural or fitout packages.
Strong cost reporting and subcontractor management.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Data centre, high-tech or technically complex construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Report to the CSA Lead and manage Package Managers, Engineers and Construction Managers.
Oversee architectural fitout works including partitions, doors, ceilings, raised access floors, finishes and clean room installations.
Coordinate architectural packages with structural and MEP construction activities.
Manage subcontractor delivery, programme, quality and installation standards.
Monitor package budgets, costs and commercial performance.
Review subcontractor pricing, invoices, valuations and retentions.
Ensure works are delivered in line with approved design information and project specifications.
Maintain effective communication with the wider project leadership and commercial teams.
Drive construction progress and resolve technical and programme challenges.
