Job summary

SYSTRA in the UK is seeking a Senior Architect to join the Buildings Team from our Manchester, Leeds, York or London offices. You will take technical ownership of design packages, coordinate with Principal Architect, and lead in-house technicians and external partners to deliver compliant, buildable solutions for rail, stations and energy-from-waste projects.

The role requires ARB & RIBA registration, proficiency in Revit, MicroStation/AECOsim, CAD modelling and strong communication.

Qualifications

ARB & RIBA registered Architect with current UK eligibility.
Experience in Rail Infrastructure Design is advantageous.
Excellent report and case study writing skills.
Strong cross-discipline coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

Produce designs, drawings, schedules and calculations and coordinate staff.
Direct and manage in-house technicians and other design disciplines.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Coordinate design input from partners and sub-contractors.
Take projects from conception to completion including feasibility, outline and detailed design.
Assist in resource planning to meet targets and budgets.
Provide technical support to on-site personnel.
Advise contractors and consultants on projects.
Coordinate stages from Technical Design to Handover.
Review tender opportunities and prepare deliverables.
