Job summary

High Speed Two Ltd is seeking a Senior Architect to join the London based Engineering Team and protect and deliver the architectural vision across the HS2 line of route.

This role spans approximately 200 miles of railway, involving headhouses, tunnel portals, bridges and viaducts, ensuring architectural quality as the project progresses through design and construction and interfacing with engineers and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Professional architectural qualification and ARB registration are essential.
• Experience across major infrastructure projects, preferably rail.
• Ability to lead design delivery within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Architect in providing architectural leadership across four Main Works Civils Contracts.
• Review and challenge proposals to ensure HS2 specifications and the Design Vision are met.
• Provide architectural input across headhouses, tunnel portals, bridges, viaducts and other assets.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, environmental and landscape disciplines to resolve interfaces.
• Ensure architectural quality and design intent through detailed design and construction.
