Job summary

Bimplus in Birmingham seeks a Senior Architect to lead design across pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities in the UK and Europe. You will drive architectural solutions, coordinate with clients, and manage BIM workflows to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in life sciences or healthcare, Revit proficiency, and understanding of UK regulations. ARB/RIBA status is desirable; a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Senior Architect with 5+ years in life sciences or healthcare sectors.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM/CAD workflows.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning laws and building regulations.
• Experience delivering designs from concept to construction documentation.
• ARB registration and RIBA Chartered (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary architectural designs and manage all phases of the architectural process.
• Collaborate on diverse design types, producing drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure specifications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create Workplans with estimated hours and deliverables for design tasks.
• Interact with clients to clarify scope and design intent; research equipment selections.
• Utilise Revit to develop architectural solutions and BIM/CAD standards.

Education

UK recognised Part 1-3 qualifications
