Job summary

Unum Partnership Ltd in Glasgow invites applications for a Senior Architect / Senior Technician to lead and deliver architectural projects. The role requires running schemes through to detailing, coordinating consultants, and maintaining strong client and contractor relationships.

You will work within a collaborative team, applying Scottish standards and building regulations, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to diverse residential, care, and hospitality projects.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
• Experience coordinating design teams through detailed design and construction.
• Strong graphic presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in residential, care and hospitality sectors preferred.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Run projects from outline design through to completion including scheme design, detail design and production information, and involvement throughout construction phases.
• Coordinate Consultants input and manage the process.
• Liaise regularly with clients, contractors and the design team to build strong relationships.
• Understand and implement technical standards for Scotland and the English building regulations with local authorities.
• Direct junior team members in day-to-day activities.
