Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Glasgow seeks an experienced Senior Architect to lead high-profile projects from concept through to completion. You will provide design leadership, mentor teams, and coordinate multidisciplinary professionals to deliver innovative architectural solutions across sectors.

The role emphasizes client relationship building, bids and proposals, and ensuring delivery on programme, budget, quality and regulatory standards, with opportunity to grow within a global practice.

Qualifications

• RIBA Part 3 qualified and ARB registered Architect.
• Significant experience delivering complex architectural projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects through all stages, from concept to completion.
• Provide design and technical leadership across projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire project teams through strong and inclusive leadership.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and specialist advisors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop innovative design solutions that respond to client, site, environmental, and contextual requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development and new opportunities.
• Lead and contribute to bids, proposals, and client presentations.
• Ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Review project outputs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in design quality and delivery.
• Work closely with the Studio Lead to support team development, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of the Glasgow practice.
