Job summary

10 Design in London is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex architectural projects across sectors, from concept to handover.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, maintain design integrity, and mentor junior staff while upholding quality and regulatory standards. Hybrid working with four days in the London studio is expected, with strong client liaison and sustainability emphasis.

Qualifications

• UK ARB registration and RIBA Part 3 qualification or international equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to professional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex architectural projects from concept through to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Act as a key client contact, building relationships and contributing to briefs, presentations and strategic decisions.
• Drive design development across all project stages, balancing creativity, sustainability, technical performance, programme and cost considerations.
• Oversee production, coordination and review of design and technical information ensuring quality standards and statutory compliance.
• Lead consultant coordination, design reviews and technical problem solving to ensure delivery and risk management.
• Support planning, regulatory approvals and sustainability initiatives including environmental assessment frameworks.
• Monitor progress, resources, programmes and deliverables, identifying risks and implementing solutions.
• Contribute to procurement, tender and construction activities including contractor engagement and site inspections.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Champion health and safety, quality management and professional standards across project delivery.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness, managing scope, fees, resources and client expectations.

Education

UK ARB registration and RIBA Part 3 qualification, or recognised international equivalent
