P+HS Architects in Manchester is seeking a Senior Architect to join our growing team on our largest hospital project to date. You will work directly with the Associate lead, shaping design solutions and coordinating with clients, technologists and contractors to deliver a healthcare-focused scheme.

The role demands a track record of leading projects, strong design and communication skills, ARB registration or Part 3, and a proactive approach to mentoring and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading architecture projects and owning multiple schemes.
• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
• Completion of RIBA Part 3 and ARB registration; RIBA Chartered Membership or willingness to become.
• Strong design, visualization, and graphics skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and graphical presentation abilities.
• Broad technical knowledge; proficiency in common software packages (Autodesk, Adobe, Office).
• Ability to use Autodesk Revit to a reasonable standard; transferable experience with 3D drawing tools.

Responsabilités

• Understand the agreed fee and scope of services.
• Plan resource needs against project programme and deliverables.
• Regularly review project details and update as required.
• Follow QA procedures and deliverables at each RIBA Stage.
• Ensure information produced by the project team is reviewed before issue.
• Set clear objectives with project team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Support other team members in decision making and acknowledge contributions.
• Act decisively in the best interest of the Practice; resolve issues promptly.
• Manage statutory approvals including Planning and Building Regulations.
• Maintain communication with Team Leaders and Project Director on progress and fees.
• Technical delivery: drawings, schedules, specifications, visuals, models; ensure QA and standards.
• Liaise with clients to provide informed architectural advice.
