Job summary

Bryden Wood in London is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design across Data Centres, Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing and process facilities. You will drive technical excellence, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage design delivery from concept through permitting and construction support.

You will work within integrated international teams across Europe, ensuring regulatory compliance, sustainability targets and client requirements are met with high-quality design

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent 5-year degree preferred.
• Registered with ARB or international equivalent.
• Extensive experience leading architectural design across complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regs and international codes.
• 6–8+ years post-qualification experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record delivering data centres, pharma, manufacturing or similar.
• Experience with permitting submissions and coordinating authorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English with stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing design deliverables and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Proficiency in BIM delivery (Revit) and coordination tools (Navisworks).
• Collaborative leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical delivery from concept to delivery.
• Coordinate integration between architectural, process, structural, MEP.
• Oversee regulatory reviews and permit submissions.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams of Architects and Engineers.
• Coordinate submissions to authorities and professional bodies.
• Manage QA/QC, risk, design programme inputs and deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members and liaise with senior management.
• Lead BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks; explore Rhino/Grasshopper for advanced projects.
