• RIBA Part 3 / ARB registration or equivalent.
• Extensive experience delivering architectural projects across multiple stages.
• Strong design, technical and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design & Creative Thinking: Lead high-quality, contextually responsive design solutions and provide design direction from concept to delivery.
• Project Delivery & Technical Coordination: Lead project workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical packages, manage risk and budgets.
• Client & Business Development: Build trusted client relationships, present ideas in meetings, contribute to bids and proposals.
• Leadership & Studio Contribution: Mentor teams, share expertise, participate in design reviews and CPD, and foster a collaborative studio culture.

Perkins&Will London is currently recruiting a Senior Architect - Associate to join our creative studio. We are an award-winning international design firm and industry leaders in commitment to sustainable design. Our London office is established as one of the most successful design firms in the UK and Europe, delivering a wide range of professional design services including corporate interiors, strategic workplace consultancy services, new build architecture, large scare urban design and planning development and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Design & Creative Thinking

• Lead the development of high-quality, contextually responsive design solutions.
• Provide design direction from concept through to delivery.
• Champion innovative, sustainable and technically considered approaches.
• Lead design reviews and contribute confidently to design discussions.

Project Delivery & Technical Coordination

• Lead project workstreams and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee design and technical packages, ensuring quality, programme and scope are maintained.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors and specialists to resolve complex issues.
• Support project risk, budget and programme management.
• Contribute to construction-stage activities, including RFIs, submittals and technical reviews.

Client & Business Development

• Build strong and trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Present ideas and recommendations confidently in client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to bids, competitions and proposals.
• Support the studio’s business development and Living Design approach.

Leadership & Studio Contribution

• Lead, mentor and support project teams and junior colleagues.
• Share design and technical expertise across the studio.
• Contribute to design reviews, CPD and studio initiatives.
• Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and a collaborative approach.
• Inspire colleagues and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.

What We're Looking For

• RIBA Part 3 / ARB or equivalent professional registration.
• Significant experience delivering architectural projects across multiple stages.
• Strong design, technical and project coordination skills.
• Experience leading teams and taking ownership of project workstreams.
• Strong client, consultant and stakeholder communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness, including budget, programme, scope and risk.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking.
• A passion for innovative, sustainable and people-centred design.
