Senior Architect - AI HW accelerators, United Kingdom

Working for a cutting-edge semiconductor company, I am looking to recruit a Senior Architect responsible for developing new hardware accelerators for AI applications.

Salary: circa €100k+ (dependent on experience)

Location: Applicants can be based in the UK or France for remote work.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and architect hardware accelerators for AI applications.
2. Collaborate with hardware and software teams for HW-SW co-design.
3. Develop solutions involving MCUs subsystems, memory controllers, and architectures such as SRAM, DDR, ROM, eFuse, HBM.
4. Work with VPU / NPU / GPU / CPU / TPU architectures.
5. Utilize ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and programming in Python.
6. Implement DSP algorithms such as FIR, IIR filters, or FFT.
7. Focus on low-power, high-performance, and optimization techniques.

Qualifications:

• BSc / MSc / PhD in Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in complex hardware-software design and architecture.
• Deep understanding of MCUs, memory architectures, and HW-SW co-design.
• Knowledge of VPU/NPU/GPU/CPU/TPU architectures.
• Experience with ML frameworks and DSP algorithms.
• Eligible to work in the UK, EU, or France (no sponsorship available).
