Overview

Conrad Consulting are partnering with an AJ100 practice seeking a Senior Architect in Shrewsbury, West Midlands, with approximately 5+ years of post qualification experience.

The practice has established itself as a prominent force in the architectural industry across the UK and internationally, with offices in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. It is a Chartered practice listed in the AJ100 and focuses on developing and supporting Architects to realise their full potential. The Shrewsbury office is expanding to accommodate increased workload.

Responsibilities

• Work on highly notable projects across sectors including Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial and more.
• Demonstrate both design and technical capabilities; driving project delivery from concept through to technical design.
• Utilise job running experience to manage project workflows and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams as required.

Working arrangement

The practice has embraced a hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home per week. Mondays and Thursdays are core office days, with the third day flexible. A 5-day office week is also acceptable. There is also an office in Birmingham, allowing time to be shared between the two offices if convenient.

Skills, qualifications and experience

• Parts 1-3 qualified and currently ARB registered.
• Chartered member of RIBA.
• Approximately 5+ years of post qualification experience, ideally within a private practice and preferably in the UK.
• Experience on projects within Healthcare, plus experience in Healthcare is particularly beneficial.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Salary and benefits

Salary in the region of £42,000–£50,000, alongside a competitive benefits package.
