Pellings is looking for a talented and well-rounded Senior Architect to join our growing team in Bromley. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects and play a key role in delivering high-quality public sector architecture across a variety of sectors.

About the Role

As a Senior Architect, you’ll work across all RIBA stages, leading projects from inception through to completion. You’ll be involved in a broad mix of residential, education, civic, and regeneration schemes, with a strong focus on sustainable design and long-term social impact.

We’re looking for someone with strong technical design skills, confident in both concept and delivery stages, who can manage projects independently while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural projects through all RIBA stages

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender packages

Take ownership of design development and delivery

Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors

Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, and other statutory requirements

Promote sustainable and innovative design solutions

Guide and support junior staff within the team

Manage project programmes and deadlines effectively

About You

Registered Architect

Strong technical and design skills with a solid portfolio of built work

Confident working across all RIBA stages

Experience working on public sector or social infrastructure projects (desirable)

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and lead client meetings

Proficient in Revit (essential); knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp is an advantage
