Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks Archaeology and Heritage Consultants to work on UK-wide projects for water, highways and infrastructure clients.

You will support historic environment inputs, undertake data searches and desk-based assessments, and liaise with planning authorities under guidance from senior colleagues. At Senior Consultant level, you will lead on complex schemes, manage projects, and provide assurance of fieldwork and mitigation deliverables, while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Degree in Archaeology or a heritage-related subject.
• Corporate member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, or working towards membership within twelve months of appointment.
• Clear report writing and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support historic environment inputs across project types, including statements, planning-led schemes, utilities diversions and highway projects.
• Senior Consultant: lead on complex, higher-risk schemes, advise on risk, consultation strategy and mitigation.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class solutions for clients and communities.
