Job summary

Fuzzy Labs, a Manchester-based tech consultancy, seeks a Senior Applied AI Engineer to own and lead complex AI workstreams. You will collaborate closely with customers to translate ambiguous AI opportunities into reliable production systems, while shaping project direction and mentoring peers.

You will work at the forefront of applied AI, building production-grade Python software, leveraging MLOps, and guiding teams through design, implementation, and deployment within a hybrid office setting in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, math, or related field (postgraduate preferred).
• Strong coding, ML/AI, open source tech focus and high standards.
• Experience building production-grade Python software and ML/AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical workstreams and shape project direction.
• Collaborate with customers to understand needs and deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Design systems and deploy secure, production-grade AI applications.
• Mentor engineers and participate in reviews and planning.
• Stay current with AI tools and share learnings with the team.
