Job summary

Fuzzy Labs, a Manchester-based tech consultancy, is seeking engineers who can grow with the company in applied AI and MLOps. You will combine software engineering with hands-on customer problem solving to turn ambiguous AI opportunities into production systems.

You will work near clients, design scalable AI solutions, and contribute to a fast-moving technology landscape while maintaining high engineering standards and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Math or related field; postgraduate degree accepted.
• Proven Python development experience for production systems.
• Experience with ML/AI systems, including LLM-based workloads.
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Experience delivering software using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to design and implement production AI solutions.
• Work closely with customers, shaping problems and delivering demos.
• Build secure, reliable services and maintainable code with good docs and tests.
• Develop with modern AI tooling: LLMs, embeddings, model serving, data pipelines.
• Participate in sprint planning, retros and code reviews with your team.
• Stay current with AI tech and share learnings with the team.
