Job summary

Oxford Dynamics Limited is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer (Private Sector Contractor) to design and ship end-to-end agentic AI systems in production. You will own the full stack from data ingestion to inference, including multi-agent pipelines, model integration, and robust guardrails, with on-premises and UK-based remote deployments.

The role demands senior-level ownership, production-grade coding, and deep expertise in LLM-based systems.

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience (typically 6+ years) with senior/lead track record.
• Commercial experience building multi-agent or agentic AI systems in production.
• Strong Python, with hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and low-level framework work.

Responsibilities

• Build the systems end-to-end, including orchestration and tooling.
• Engineer for production with reliable, low-latency behavior.
• Integrate LLMs and vision-language models into real reasoning and task-execution pipelines.
• Deploy across cloud, on-premises, and offline environments with security and reliability in mind.
• Own production pipelines from data ingestion to inference.
