Job summary

Oxford Dynamics is hiring a Senior Applied AI Engineer to build agentic AI systems in production, owning end-to-end design, development and deployment. You will design multi-agent pipelines, integrate large language and vision-language models, and ensure reliability and security across cloud, on‑premises and offline environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building LLM-based or agentic systems.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience deploying AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Knowledge of secure deployment patterns (on‑premises, air-gapped).
• Experience with large multimodal data, indexing and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Build the systems themselves from ground up.
• Engineer for production: reliability, latency and failure handling.
• Put models to work by integrating LLM/vision-language models into real pipelines.
• Deploy where it is hard: cloud, on‑premises, offline environments.
• Own the full pipeline from data ingestion to inference.
• Build evaluation, observability and guardrails for system behavior.
• Set the technical bar and provide long-term design direction.
