Job Description:

I currently have two similar roles, one based in Sheffield with an exciting start-up company working on Semiconductor Sensor Technology, and another based in Cambridge with an established organization focusing on design-in, Electronic Reference Design, and Optical/Semiconductor products both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree with experience in Semiconductor or Optical Devices and proven experience working as an Applications Engineer.

Key skills should include:

• Electronic Design for Reference / Design-in
• Test and Measurement of Semiconductor Devices or Optical Technologies

Other areas of interest include: PCB Design / Schematics, Signal Integrity, RF, and High-Speed Optical Systems.
