Job summary

You will mentor mid-level developers, enforce coding standards, and ensure designs align with the architecture blueprint while managing risk and regulatory compliance in Citi's environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
• Expert-level technical knowledge in Core Java, including JVM internals, concurrency, garbage collection, and memory management in a low-latency context.
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to integrate functions and deploy new products and process improvements.
• Resolve high-impact problems through analysis of business and system processes.
• Provide expert programming knowledge and ensure designs align with architecture blueprint.
• Develop coding/testing standards using system flow insights.
• Understand integration of architecture and infrastructure to meet goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and craft innovative solutions.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work.
• Drive risk assessment and compliance in line with laws and Citi policies.
