Citi Belfast is seeking an Applications Development professional to join the Asset Servicing Technology team. You will contribute to the ASPEN platform, work within a global tech group, and help deliver secure, scalable solutions in an agile setting.
Ideal candidates will have strong Java/Angular experience and be comfortable collaborating across functions. The role supports a hybrid work arrangement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Asset Servicing Technology team is part of wider Markets Operations Technology group. Our strategic application, ASPEN (Asset Servicing Processing Environments), provides Asset Servicing processing capabilities globally, including announcement capture, stock record capture and notifications to internal and external clients. This is an opportunity to join a global technology team and work on some exciting tech transformation initiatives.
Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
Ability to work within the global tech team adopting an agile way of working
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
Experienced skills in Java/ Angular & Oracle databases
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
