Artemis Talent has partnered with a global Software Vendor providing Buyside (Asset Management & Hedge Fund) clients with a Pricing analytics tool to enhance investment decision-making. They are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to join their London team (hybrid) for a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and potentially step into a leadership role.

As a key member of the London team, you will provide exceptional support for their bespoke niche software. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Implementation, Development, and Account Management teams.

To succeed as a Senior Application Support Engineer, experience in the following areas is highly beneficial:

• Advanced SQL Server + T-SQL skills and database administration experience
• Deep understanding of Join types, Sub Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures, Optimization, and other SQL concepts
• Hands-on experience supporting Python (Quantlib, Pip, Flask, SciPy, Jinja2)
• Linux
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with Cloud technologies, ideally AWS (Lambda, IAM, S3, EC2, CloudFormation)
• 2:1 or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relevant Numerical degree from a top 40 university
