Job summary

Wave is seeking an experienced security engineer to own application security and support security initiatives across our product teams. You’ll define guardrails for AI usage, secure agentic tooling, and collaborate with infrastructure to improve data protection and threat modeling.

You’ll work on common security challenges, from code security review to audits, while mentoring engineers and shaping governance for security in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of professional experience with 3–5 years in a security-related role.
• Strong Experience with Python.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application security across products.
• Help define guardrails for AI-powered tooling and secure their usage.
• Build and tune SIEM/SecOps pipelines for AI-driven triage and response.
• Secure MCP integrations against prompt injection and credential exposure.
• Lead security reviews of public-facing APIs and code paths.
• Mentor engineers on secure patterns and best practices.
