OpenTable is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to lead complex API integrations and high-impact technical engagements across our partner and restaurant ecosystem. You will own sophisticated implementations, partner cross-functionally, and help establish technical standards across Solutions Engineering.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with REST APIs, JSON payloads, and authentication methods.
• Strong track record of leading complex integrations from discovery through production.
• Ability to review logs, debug API requests/responses, and diagnose issues.
• Experience guiding multiple stakeholders and driving technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex API integrations and technical initiatives from discovery through launch.
• Own quarter-length technical projects and partner implementations with clear milestones.
• Serve as primary technical advisor for partners and strategic initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical approaches.
• Diagnose API and integration challenges using logs and patterns.
• Identify risks and dependencies, and partner to mitigate gaps.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define scope and solutions.
• Communicate delivery changes, blockers, and risks clearly.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Develop engineering playbooks and guardrails to improve quality.
