OpenTable is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to lead complex API integrations and high-impact technical engagements across its partner and restaurant ecosystem. You will own sophisticated implementations, partner cross-functionally to drive outcomes, and establish strong technical standards across Solutions Engineering.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Solutions Engineering or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Deep experience with REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication methods, webhooks, and system integrations.
• Proven ability to review logs, debug API requests/responses, and diagnose complex integration issues.
• Led complex technical implementations from discovery through production launch.
• Able to drive work across multiple stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex API integrations and technical initiatives from discovery through launch.
• Own quarter-length technical projects and vendor implementations with clear milestones.
• Serve as primary technical advisor for partners and strategic initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical approaches.
• Diagnose API/integration issues using logs and requests/responses.
• Identify risks, dependencies and mitigation plans for implementations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define scope and solutions.
• Communicate changes to delivery expectations and risks early and clearly.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Build expertise across APIs, integrations, and the broader tech ecosystem.
