Job summary

Wesco in Gloucester is seeking a Senior Analyst - Transaction Accounting, Technology & Projects to support Accounts Payable and the wider Transaction Accounting function through technology-enabled change, process improvement and automation.

You will collaborate with AP, Finance, IT and external providers, map current and future processes, and help deliver system implementations, testing and reporting enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, Transaction Accounting or P2P environments.
• Experience supporting technology, automation or system projects.
• Understanding invoice processing, approvals and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AP activities supporting transaction accounting technology and transformation projects.
• Partner with AP, Finance, Procurement, Tax, IT and external providers to define requirements.
• Document current and future-state processes; identify automation opportunities.
• Manage project plans, risks, actions and status reporting.
• Coordinate system configuration, testing and implementation readiness.
• Develop test scripts, SOPs and training materials.
• Analyze data to identify trends and control gaps; track benefits and outcomes.
• Serve as liaison between operational teams and technical specialists.
• Deliver change management, training and post-implementation support.
