Job summary

Snappy Shopper is seeking an experienced Android Developer for a fully remote UK role. You will design, build and maintain features across the Snappy Shopper ecosystem, including Order Manager and Snappy Picker, with modern Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and robust testing.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering and other stakeholders to turn business requirements into clear technical solutions, while ensuring reliability and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Kotlin experience with modern Android development.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow.
• Familiarity with multi‑module Clean Architecture and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Android features across Snappy Shopper, Order Manager and Snappy Picker.
• Collaborate with Android developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Make sound architectural decisions and ensure reliability, maintainability and scalability.
• Own quality and completeness of solutions before review.
• Review colleagues’ code and contribute constructively to discussions.
• Troubleshoot Kotlin and legacy Java code and resolve complex production issues.
