Job summary

Zepz, the Identity engineering teams behind WorldRemit and Sendwave, is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to modernise onboarding and identity verification for millions of users across our cross-border remittance platform.

You will own Android identity flows from design through release, collaborating with product, design and compliance to raise the technical bar while delivering reliable, secure mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping production Android apps on Google Play.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android UI paradigms (Compose/XML).
• Strong understanding of app architecture, DI and state management.
• Experience with multi-module builds and scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in regulated fintech or similar high-compliance environments.
• Ability to mentor engineers and raise technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Android identity flows from design to production monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Compliance to align technical approaches with regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen testing strategy and delivery pipeline while maintaining architectural boundaries.
• Ensure performance, reliability and security on a wide range of devices.
