Job summary

La Fosse is hiring a Senior Android Engineer in London, with hybrid work. You will build the Android app for the UK EV charging platform, collaborating with an iOS engineer on cross‑platform work using KMP.

You will own features from architecture through to the Play Store, integrating REST/GraphQL APIs with FastAPI/Docker in the backend. Some Swift/iOS exposure is a plus, and you’ll work with hardware on the street.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with native Android, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• KMP experience.
• Ownership of features from architecture through to the Play Store.
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Backend uses FastAPI and Docker; familiarity is a bonus.
• Exposure to Swift and iOS is preferred.
• Interest in software meeting physical hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Android app powering the EV charging platform in London.
• Collaborate with the senior iOS engineer for cross-platform work using KMP.
• Own features from architecture to distribution on Play Store.
