Job summary

MoneySupermarket Group is seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our Mobile Collective in Manchester. You’ll lead feature delivery across Android apps for MoneySavingExpert, Quidco and MoneySuperMarket, shaping architecture and driving best practices.

You’ll work in cross-functional squads, write Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, and collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality, scalable apps. Hybrid work includes 2 days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience building Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and source control (Git).

Responsibilities

Location: Manchester (City Centre, Spinningfields) | Hybrid: 2 days in the office per week

Level: Senior

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our Mobile Collective, supporting and growing apps across MoneySavingExpert, Quidco, and MoneySuperMarket. You’ll work in full-stack, multi-disciplinary squads, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers. Expect hands-on involvement across the entire SDLC, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance. Our apps serve millions of users every month and we’re continually evolving our architecture, developer experience, and release processes. You’ll help shape technical decisions, tackle performance and scalability challenges, and contribute to the future direction of our Android platform. We’re an AI-enabled engineering organisation, using tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Stack: Our Android stack includes Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM/Clean Architecture approaches, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.

What You’ll Do
