Job summary

Allwyn UK is recruiting a Principal Insight & Analytics Analyst to lead and deliver advanced analytics products that influence strategic and operational decisions across the organisation. The role combines hands-on analytics with squad leadership, mentoring and governance across a matrix operating model.

You will partner with Business Partners to shape roadmaps, drive data infrastructure improvements and translate complex modelling into clear executive narratives.

Qualifications

• Senior stakeholder engagement across multiple functions and leadership levels.
• Proven ability to lead complex analytics initiatives from problem to embedded change.
• Advanced analytics proficiency with SQL, Python or R and storytelling for exec audiences.
• Experience designing, governing and scaling analytics products and dashboards.
• Strong data modelling, ETL/ELT, data quality and collaboration with data engineering teams.
• Experience coaching and developing analysts and building analytical standards.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of curiosity, technical excellence and data-driven decision making.
• Raise analytics capability through guidance, reviews and reusable frameworks.
• Shape roadmaps with Business Partners based on value, feasibility and data readiness.
• Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to support data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Translate complex outputs into clear narratives for executives and operations.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of analytical products from discovery to production.
• Lead design and delivery of high-impact analytics products supporting strategic decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across squads and analysts.
• Line manage analysts for performance and development.
