Job Description:

*This role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) occasionally.

The role in a nutshell

The Senior Analytics Implementation Engineer will support UNiDAYS' product, engineering, and marketing goals by maintaining and improving digital data capture (App and Web). The role involves measuring digital journeys and features, implementing MarTech tags, and collaborating with engineering teams. There is also scope to unify tracking approaches to support growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities

1. Design & write digital data requirements, ensuring correct implementation across platforms, including QA, UAT, and release monitoring, primarily within GA4 and Segment.
2. Collaborate with marketing teams for proper implementation of MarTech platforms, including GTM.
3. Lead data governance efforts, working with analysts and engineering to resolve data integrity issues.
4. Maintain and improve data capture documentation for self-service and monitor technical debt.
5. Work on key projects with engineering, developing measurement standards and approaches.

What we need from you

• Intermediate to advanced experience supporting tracking solutions with engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with Firebase for data capture, including spec design, UAT, and QA.
• Basic to intermediate experience with GTM or similar platforms.
• Experience with digital analytics and MarTech platforms.
• Understanding of marketing technology principles and data pipelines.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (Desirable).
• Experience with Segment and Launch Darkly (Desirable).
• Experience in product-centric organizations and sprint-focused environments (Desirable).
• Basic understanding of BigQuery for GA4 (Desirable).
