NETWORK IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER - MERAKI

CONTRACT ROLE

UK REMOTE (able to travel)

Job Summary

We seek a skilled Meraki Network Implementation Engineer to join our IT team. This role involves implementing and supporting global Meraki SD-LAN networks locally and internationally, requiring technical expertise, collaboration, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Implement Meraki LAN and WiFi as part of project teams.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for complex network issues across office and factory environments, including IT, IoT, and OT systems.
• Review site surveys from third-party vendors to define materials and design plans.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for testing and cutover plans.
• Travel to sites for implementation and cutovers.
• Guide non-network IT staff remotely on LAN and WiFi setups.
• Work with IT teams and vendors to integrate Meraki networks with existing SD-WAN and cloud services (Azure), ensuring quality and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience in network engineering, especially Cisco Meraki LAN, WiFi, and Firewall implementations.
• Knowledge of Meraki cloud solutions and SD-WAN technologies.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Azure Administrator are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel for site implementations.
