Job summary

Paddle is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape our data infrastructure and models, enabling robust analytics across teams. You will work closely with business stakeholders, deliver scalable data solutions, and promote best practices in analytics engineering.

You will mentor junior engineers while building complex data models in Snowflake with dbt, exposing datasets via Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, and other BI tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in analytics engineering or related data roles.
• Expertise in advanced SQL, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Proficient in using BI tools to deliver actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior analytics engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex, scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Expose datasets effectively in BI tooling to enable self-service analytics.
• Perform data ingestion tasks using no-code tools and ensure streamlined data flows.
• Add comprehensive metadata, documentation, data quality checks, and masking.
• Activate data by pushing it from Snowflake into other tools.
• Identify data quality issues and raise them for resolution.
• Lead training sessions to drive BI tool adoption across the org.
• Mentor junior analytics engineers to grow team capabilities.
