Job summary

WeDo in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape the next phase of the modern data platform. You will design, build and optimise scalable data models on Snowflake, dbt and related tools, collaborating with Product, Engineering and Analytics to deliver impactful solutions.

The role offers true autonomy, AI-enabled workflows and opportunities to influence data modelling, governance and quality in a regulated fintech environment, with full remote flexibility across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, CTEs and window functions.
• Experience designing and developing data models.
• Hands-on with dbt or Coalesce.io.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
• Understanding data transformation, testing, version control and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable data models within a modern cloud data platform.
• Develop new data solutions supporting upcoming products and business initiatives.
• Review and improve existing data models for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance and Analytics stakeholders to solve challenges.
• Contribute to data quality, governance and testing standards in regulated environments.
• Explore AI and automation to improve engineering practices.
• Engage with Data Engineering, orchestration and BI across the data ecosystem.
• Mentor or support other engineers and share knowledge.
