Job summary

Xcede is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our London-based team. You will design and build foundational data models, ensuring high data quality across the platform and supporting a growing set of agentic AI systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in analytics/ data engineering, strong SQL (PostgreSQL), and proven dbt, Snowflake/BigQuery, and BI tool experience. You will collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and drive scalable data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering or analytics.
• Strong SQL across PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Solid dbt experience, building scalable DAGs.
• Experience with Snowflake or BigQuery data warehouses.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker and clear stakeholder communication.

Required Skills

• Python proficiency for scripting, automation and data manipulation
• Snowflake or BigQuery
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate your own workflow

Preferred Skills

• Dagster or Airflow experience is a nice to have
• Any exposure to ML workflows or real-time pipelines
