About Team

The role will report to the Analytics Manager. You will be part of a team that develops end-to-end reporting solutions for internal stakeholders. The team consists of experienced data engineers and reporting developers. The team is one of four teams within the data and analytics function, so there will occasionally be overlapping and cross-functional work.

About Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic data scientist to assist our analytics team in transitioning to leveraging data science and machine learning. Candidates should have experience deploying machine models and providing insights into their governance. You must be a self-starter capable of managing projects independently.

You will also engage in data engineering tasks, initially supported by the team but expected to be handled independently over time. Our team supports strategic reporting for finance, marketing, go-to-market, and strategy, providing exposure to various datasets and teams.

Responsibilities

1. Understanding our end-to-end development processes.
2. Deploying proof-of-concept machine models to production and advising on deployment approaches.
3. Assisting in data engineering and Tableau dashboard support.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Requirements

1. Experience in data science and analytics.
2. Developing and maintaining machine learning models.
3. Creating Generative AI applications using RAG.
4. Optimizing LLM queries with prompt engineering techniques.
5. Proficiency in Python and SQL.
6. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
7. Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data models within data warehouses.
8. Using cloud tools like DataBricks for AI/ML.
9. Experience in model governance and documentation.
