AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) seeks a Senior Analytics Solutions Architect to design end-to-end analytics platforms, from data lakes to real-time streaming, leveraging Redshift, Athena, EMR, Glue, Kinesis, QuickSight and OpenSearch. You’ll partner with enterprise customers to architect cost-effective, scalable analytics solutions and influence service roadmaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
Experience architecting analytics or data platform solutions (data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT, BI, or real-time streaming).
Experience communicating with executive stakeholders or clients.
Experience delivering analytics or data platform solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

Architect analytics solutions - data lake, lakehouse, warehouse and streaming architectures using AWS services.
Lead analytics modernization, migrating from legacy platforms to cloud-native analytics with ETL refactoring.
Partner with AWS AGS sales teams to identify opportunities and shape deal strategy.
Deliver proofs of concept showing performance, cost optimisation and scalability.
Create reference architectures for streaming ingestion, CDC pipelines and data sharing patterns.
Advise enterprise customers translating BI and analytics requirements into scalable designs.
Influence AWS service roadmaps with customer feedback and beta participation.
Collaborate with AI/ML, Security, and Migration teams to connect foundations to ML workloads.
