Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Analytical Development Scientist to join a pharmaceutical/biotech environment in Northern Ireland. You will develop, optimise, and validate analytical methods (HPLC, UHPLC, GC) for API manufacturing, conduct degradation studies, and ensure GMP compliance with robust data delivery to support projects.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field, with proven lab experience in method development and troubleshooting, and

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Analytical/Chemistry related field.
• Experience in method development, validation, or troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of HPLC/UHPLC/GC and degradation studies.
• Experience with GMP standards in pharmaceutical/biotech settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and validate analytical methods including HPLC, UHPLC, and GC for API manufacturing.
• Conduct degradation studies to assess stability and quality of compounds.
• Troubleshoot analytical techniques and laboratory issues to maintain assay accuracy.
• Collaborate with Process Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support project timelines and GMP compliance.
