Company Overview

SRG is working with a global CDMO that is rapidly expanding and seeking multiple Analytical Scientists at various levels to support their API division.

We are hiring Scientists, Senior Analytical Scientists, and Associate Principal Scientists to join a growing pharmaceutical company in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and optimize synthetic routes for small molecule drug substances (APIs), supporting early and late-phase development.
• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods (GMP and non-GMP).
• Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment.
• Support Quality Management System activities, including investigations and CAPAs.
• Utilize techniques such as HPLC, GC, NMR, MS, IR, and XRD.
• For Associate Principal Scientist: Lead and guide analytical development team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in a Scientific discipline.
• Strong background in Analytical Chemistry, with recent experience in HPLC, GC, and other techniques.
• Experience analyzing APIs and small molecules.
• Method development experience is highly desired.

Senior Position Requirements

• Experience with regulatory requirements for analytical method development and validation.
• Project leadership experience.
