Job summary

Entrust Resource Solutions is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist in Staffordshire for a hands-on role developing methods using ICP-OES. You will maintain instrumentation, calibrations, and QC checks while ensuring quality and H&S standards are met.

The role involves developing and validating analytical methods and applying XRF, XRD, and AAS techniques. You will work in a busy team, training QC analytical staff in a permanent position with attractive salary depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytical chemistry and instrument maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with ICP-OES is preferred.

Our NW based client is actively looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist. This is a hands on position where the successful candidate will be developing a range of methods using ICP-OES

Additional responsibilities will include :

• Maintaining instrumentation, including calibrations, troubleshooting, QC checks, standards
• Developing and validating analytical methods
• Understanding of other analytical techniques including XRF, XRD , AAS
• Ensuring all activities are completed in line with Quality and H&S standards
• Working in a busy team environment , supporting the ongoing training of QC analytical staff
