Fitch Ratings in London is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for the European Structured Finance team. You will assess mortgage, consumer and corporate loans, including CLOs, building credit opinions and sharing findings with investors.

The role emphasizes rigorous analysis, collaboration across teams, and effective communication in English. A hybrid work model is offered, with on-site presence three days a week.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex credit analyses clearly.
• Experience in finance and familiarity with securitization structures (CLOs a plus) is beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform default, recovery and cash flow modelling for structured transactions.
• Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of originators and CLO managers.
• Prepare rating proposals for internal committees and present to investors.
• Communicate rating rationale to investors and market participants via reports and meetings.
• Engage with originators to understand asset characteristics and transaction features.
• Assist in criteria development and supporting research.
