Job summary

Fitch Ratings in London is seeking a Credit Analyst at Analyst level to join the European Structured Finance team. The role focuses on rating transactions backed by mortgage, consumer, and corporate loans, including CLOs, with extensive cash flow and credit analysis.

As part of a collaborative, AI-enabled environment, you will prepare rating proposals, interact with investors, and contribute to developing criteria and research. Hybrid work setup applies with three days in office weekly.

Qualifications

• Some prior experience in finance
• Knowledge of securitization structures and CLOs beneficial
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with Excel
• Ability to review and analyze legal contracts from a credit risk perspective
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

• Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling
• On-site review of underwriting and servicing of originators and CLO managers
• Preparing rating proposals for internal rating committees
• Communicating rating rationale to investors and market participants
• Communicating with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics
• Assist in development of criteria and supporting research
