Job summary

Brit Insurance is seeking a Senior Analyst (Research & Development) in Greater London to advance our risk aggregation capabilities. You will work with the Risk Aggregation and R&D teams to build analytics, strengthen tools, and improve reporting while applying catastrophe modelling concepts and cloud-based solutions.

You’ll contribute to the ongoing development of internal and external risk analytics, with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and clear communication of complex risk insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantitative risk analysis and catastrophe modelling.
• Knowledge of Lloyd's or London Market practices is desirable.
• Strong technical capability across full stack development and cloud services.
• Experience with databases, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and version control.

Responsibilities

• Support development of risk aggregation tools and analytics.
• Collaborate with Head of Risk Aggregation and R&D to improve processes and reporting.
• Apply quantitative methods to inform risk decisions and modelling.
