What it's about

Partners Group is seeking a Senior Analyst / Junior Associate to join our high-performing and expanding Private Credit investment team in London! This is an opportunity for you to shape the future of Partners Group’s European mid-market direct lending strategy through the sourcing, due diligence and execution of investment opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Investment due diligence including review of diligence reports, interviewing industry experts and attending management meetings
  • Financial analysis including detailed LBO modelling and scenario testing
  • Preparation of investment memoranda and participation in Investment Committee discussions
  • Portfolio management activities including monitoring of portfolio asset performance and assessing waiver and amendment requests
  • Assist senior investment team members in building relationships with sponsors and other external parties
What we expect
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a buyside investment role (private credit / private equity), debt advisory, management consulting, investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A) or transaction services
  • A passion for and commitment to investing in mid-market companies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop close relationships with industry participants over time
  • Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to build and develop LBO models
  • Excellent academic record with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university or equivalent institution
