Compass Lexecon, a leading global economic consulting firm, seeks a Senior Analyst to contribute to high-profile competition cases. You will translate economic theory into empirical evidence, work closely with senior staff, and support client engagements in an international setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in economics and 1–2 years of competition economics experience, with strong Stata and Excel skills, and fluency in English.

Formación

• Master’s degree in economics, ideally with a focus on microeconomics, industrial organisation and/or econometrics
• 1-2 years of experience in competition economics (ether from an economic consultancy and/or authority or regulator)
• Highly analytical
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
• Dedication to high quality and accurate work
• Strong attention to detail
• Independent worker and team player
• Strong Stata and Excel skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Responsabilidades

• Reviewing Literature and contributing to discussions about how the theoretical and empirical approach
• Efficiently conducting empirical analysis using Excel and Stata
• Drafting reports summarising analysis
• Participating in client meetings and conference calls
• Delivering accurate and high-quality work product
• Interacting with clients regarding data
• Mentoring junior staff members
