Job Description

Role Overview

The Capital Markets role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic global team responsible for originating and executing financings for M&A and existing assets. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Capital Markets & Treasury, the role is part of a collaborative team of professionals focused on Capital markets activities and growth initiatives for Brookfield Renewable’s European business. The team provides critical analytical support to Brookfield Renewable’s financing and growth initiatives. The candidate will work closely with the teams responsible for executing financings and advising on strategic initiatives aimed at achieving the long‑term growth objectives.

The candidate will interface with members of the senior management team, key finance and business leaders, portfolio company management and important outside service providers (banks, lenders, investors, credit rating agencies, accounting and legal advisors).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing project financings, acquisition financings, corporate financings with lenders and advisors
• Assist in developing and negotiating term sheets, credit agreements and other finance documents
• Assist in developing financing strategies for presentation to senior management
• Assist in obtaining and managing credit ratings
• Support capital structuring and underwriting of M&A targets and development opportunities

In summary, the role will be integral in all aspects of deal structuring, deal execution, lender / investor relationship management, as well as various ad hoc projects.

Requirements:
