Aurora Energy Research, based in Oxford, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the GB & Ireland advisory team. You will support client engagements with data-driven insights across the energy transition, using Aurora’s energy market models to inform strategic decisions for utilities, developers, and policy bodies.
You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, developing hypotheses, analyzing quantitative data, and presenting findings to senior clients.
Based in Oxford, you will be a member of the GB & Ireland advisory team at Aurora, helping our clients make better strategic and investment decisions by delivering cutting-edge insights across the energy transition.
As a Senior Analyst on this team, you will support all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, synthesising conclusions into recommendations and presenting to senior clients. You will become an expert user of Aurora’s models to develop data-based strategic insights into the energy transition for a wide range of clients including utilities, developers, investment firms, governmental bodies and non-governmental organisations.
You will work in a dynamic, stimulating, and demanding yet supportive environment. You will apply your strong interpersonal skills to thrive in connected, cooperative project teams. Over time, you will grow into an industry expert under the guidance of senior colleagues with deep experience addressing major strategic issues in the energy transition.
This role would suit a professional with two to four years' experience in the energy sector, management consulting, financial services or a similar field.
