Job summary

IonQ Oxford is seeking a Staff Analog Mixed-Signal Design and Verification Engineer to join the Cryo-CMOS IC team. You will design analog and mixed-signal blocks from specification through circuit design, simulation, layout, tape-out and silicon validation, and own the full-chip model used for ASIC verification of the quantum processor.

In this role, you will shape design standards, drive mixed-signal co-simulation, and mentor engineers while contributing to IonQ's quantum computing

Qualifications

• Deep analog and mixed-signal design and modelling experience

Responsibilities

• Own full-chip modelling strategy across IC development flow
• Own analog and mixed-signal blocks from spec through schematic design
• Own top-level integration and full-chip simulations for ASIC control of quantum processor
• Develop real-number models for fast digital verification and regression
• Derive models from mathematics and validate against measured silicon
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers on circuit design and modelling craft
